KY-035 Digital Hall Magnetic Sensor Module (3144 IC)
The KY-035 Hall Magnetic Sensor Module is a reliable digital sensor designed to detect the presence of a magnetic field. It is based on the 3144 unipolar Hall-effect sensor IC, which responds specifically to one pole of a magnet (usually the south pole).
When a magnetic field is detected, the module outputs a digital LOW signal; otherwise, it remains HIGH. This makes it ideal for applications like speed detection, position sensing, door security systems, and contactless switching.
Features :-
Uses 3144 Hall-effect sensor IC
Digital output (HIGH / LOW)
Fast response and high sensitivity
Compact size and easy to integrate
Suitable for Arduino, ESP32, and other microcontrollers
Specifications
Operating Voltage: 3.3V – 5V
Output Type: Digital
Detection Type: Unipolar (single magnetic pole)
Interface: 3-pin (VCC, GND, DO)
Pin Configuration
VCC → Power supply (3.3V or 5V)
GND → Ground
DO → Digital output signal
Wiring / Connection (with Arduino / ESP32)
Connect VCC to 5V (or 3.3V for ESP32)
Connect GND to GND
Connect DO to any digital input pin (e.g., D2)
How It Works
When no magnet is present → Output = HIGH
When a magnetic field is detected → Output = LOW
Applications
Magnetic field detection
Door open/close alarm systems
RPM and speed measurement
Position detection
Proximity sensing
