Infrared Proximity Sensor (3–80 cm)
E18‑D80NK Adjustable Infrared Proximity Sensor (3–80 cm)
Overview:
The E18‑D80NK is an adjustable infrared proximity sensor ideal for obstacle detection and automation. It includes both IR emitter and receiver, with a threaded cylindrical housing and built-in potentiometer to set the detection range between 3 and 80 cm.
Key Features:
Operating Voltage: 5 V DC
Detection Range: Adjustable from 3 to 80 cm
Output: Open-collector NPN (active LOW when object detected)
Current Consumption: Typically 25–30 mA, up to 100 mA max
Built-in indicator LED lights when detection is active
Passive modulation reduces interference from ambient light sources
Threaded body (Ø17 mm) + 2 nuts enables secure panel mounting
Technical Specifications:
